Lightbox Projects is a creative management company supporting artists, organisations, and communities to bring their ideas to life.
From concept to delivery, we work across the arts, culture, and community sectors to produce events, develop programmes, and strengthen creative ecosystems across Tāmaki Makaurau and beyond.
We collaborate with local boards, galleries, heritage organisations, and creative practitioners, building projects that connect people and place through art, storytelling, and shared experience.

● What we do
Creative Consultancy
Lightbox Projects offers tailored support for creative people, organisations and initiatives from fundraising and sponsorship strategy to communications, branding, and design. We work with organisations to clarify their vision and make meaningful connections with audiences.
Open Studio Events
We manage and produce a network of community Open Studios events across Auckland, including Open Studios Waitākere, Upper Harbour Open Studios and now Open Studios Kaipātiki.
These programmes provide opportunities for local artists to showcase their work, engage with new audiences, and build stronger creative networks.
Heritage & Storytelling
Through partnerships with organisations such as the Mackelvie Society and the Preserving Local History & Educational Trust (Your Stories), we help share the stories that shape our cultural identity, from gallery tours and talks to the digitisation of community newspapers.
Arts Brokerage & Community Programmes
Lightbox Projects delivers creative brokerage services across three Auckland local board areas including Creative Henderson-Massey, Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Arts, and Rodney through Creative Rodney, supporting local artists, creatives, and organisations to develop and deliver projects that strengthen community connection through the arts.
